NFL International Games Announced
NFL Europe Games Announced for 2023
The 2023 NFL schedule was announced Tuesday, and features a total of 5 international games during the course of the season.

On October 1st, the Jacksonville Jaguars will take on the Atlanta Falcons followed by a “home game” against the Buffalo Bills a week later. These back to back fixtures make the Jaguars the first ever NFL team to play two games in a row outside of the US. On October 15th the Baltimore Ravens will face the Tennessee Titans at Tottenham Hotspur stadium to round out the London games.

The 2023 NFL regular season will also feature two games in Germany this year, with the reigning Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt on November 5th. This game will showcase two of the best young Quarterbacks in the league in Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa. A week later, the New England Patriots will face the Indianapolis Colts in the same venue. This two game slate builds on the massive success of the NFL game in Germany last year, which saw a record breaking attendance and demand for tickets as the popularity of professional American football continues to grow in Europe. Colts fans in Germany and beyond will also get to see rookie Quarterback and 4th draft selection Anthony Richardson in action early in his pro career, which is sure to be a treat.

By adding a second game outside of the established UK market, the NFL are doubling down on their commitment to further grow a fanbase on this side of the Atlantic. It’s also interesting to see the inclusion of big time teams such as the Bills and the Chiefs to the NFL Europe games – an indication of the demand for competitive games and top American football talent. We can expect both games in Germany to sell out, and it won’t be long before more European NFL markets launched including Spain, France, and maybe even Ireland.
