Gaelic Gridiron’s Super Bowl Party Guide

They’re baccckkk!!! After long 2 years, Super Bowl parties are back. Restrictions have lifted just in time and we couldn’t be more excited to drink watered down pints, scoff cold wings and watch some football! Super Bowl 56 is a little under 2 weeks away, so it’s time to start planning where you’re going to tune in from. Check out our handy guide below for some of the best spots around the country to watch the Super Bowl and let us know in the comments if we missed anywhere.

The Woolshed.

Located on Dublin’s Parnell St, The Woolshed is Ireland’s original sports bar and offers one of the best Super Bowl party experiences. You can expect decent drink deals, platters, a half time DJ and about 20 screens, including a massive one in the middle of the venue. But you better get booking as this place is always jam packed on Super Bowl night!

The Odeon.

Hosted by the Dublin Rebels, the Odeon Super Bowl party has gained popularity in recent years. Conveniently located on the green luas line at the top of Harcourt St, the Odeon has some savage food and cocktails. These Super Bowl parties are known for giveaways, cheerleaders and general messing so if you’re on Dublin’s south side and need a place to watch the big game, check it out!

The Deer’s Head.

The self-styled “home of NFL in Belfast” seems to be putting on a pretty decent spread for this year’s Super Bowl. A cover charge of £8 gets you a pint, a donation to a local charity, entry into a raffle and they’re doing food up until half time in the game! If you’re watching the game up north then this could be a good spot for you. More information is available over on their Facebook page

Flannery’s Limerick

We’d be castigated on social media if we didn’t include a Super Bowl party in the west of Ireland. So here’s one for all you football fans on the other side of the country! Hosted in conjunction with the University of Limerick Vikings, there’ll be burgers and beers aplenty and good times until the wee hours! So if you’re Limerick or Clare based, make sure you check it out.

Botanic Inn, Belfast.

The Belfast Trojans Super Bowl party makes it’s return to the Botanic Inn this year and guarantees plenty of wings, beer, screens and more! Taking place in partnership with their catering partners Amarc Events, early bird tickets are going for just £12 and are available now. Check out their social media for more infor!

There is probably still a lot of uncertainty in bars and venues around late opening, and as a result fewer places will be staying open for the full game. Let us know your favourite Super Bowl spot in the comments!
