College Football 2025 Preview & Predictions
By Ben Wallner
With Ohio State taking home the National Title last season defeating the Fighting Irish in the first iteration of the new formatted playoffs which brought great excitement and huge plays it’s time to look ahead at the 2025/26 season.
Will another powerhouse win it again, who will be the underdogs and which players will shine? We take a look in this season preview.
SEC
Kicking off in the SEC – the powerhouse in recent years you can expect the top teams to show out once again with heaps of star talent, especially at Texas where a new era of the next Manning QB begins with Arch Manning showing great flashes last season but of course sitting behind Quinn Ewers still managed to put up 900+ yards and 9 touchdowns.
Longhorns fans should be very excited about his potential as he is already being projected as a first round pick in upcoming mock drafts.

Looking over to Alabama with a maybe a slightly disappointing end to the season finishing 9-4 with the first season after Nick Saban of course an absolute legend in the college football scene maybe set the standards too high but don’t give up on Kalen DeBoer’s Crimson Tide just yet. While they have lost star Quarterback Jalen Milroe and this will have offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb looking for a suitable replacement. Considering all this Alabama still possess possibly one of the most dangerous weapons in the SEC star Wide Receiver Ryan Williams who at just 17 years of age put up 865 yards and 8 touchdowns he will be looking to fill that WR1 spot and absolutely skyrocket those numbers personally I am expecting easily over 1200 yards and at least 10 touchdowns for the young Receiver if the right Quarterback can be found to replace Milroe.
Last but not least I’d like to talk about the Ole Miss Rebels. While they may have lost Quarterback Jaxson Dart but have already found a replacement in Austin Simmons who last year played a couple of snaps but not enough to tell if he will be a viable replacement. This puts the Rebels offence into a limbo. One thing that’s definitely not in a limbo and in fact is a massive power will be the defense with Edge Rusher Princewill Umanmielen transferring in from Nebraska and Linebacker Suntarine Perkins will be taking lead. Umanmielen may not have played much so far in his collegiate career however he is an absolute physical specimen who is bound to succeed if given the opportunity. At just 20 years old he stands at 6”5 and weighs in at 245 lbs. of pure muscle if he is given plenty of snaps we should be expecting over 10 sacks and a ton of tackles from the young Edge Rusher.
Tennessee is a team who may be in real trouble this coming season as they saw starting QB Nico Iamaleava leave for UCLA in the offseason with Joey Aguilar taking his spot. While Aguilar hasn’t played in college yet he was very high on interceptions all through high school and this could become a worry for the Vols if he doesn’t fine tune his turnover ratio.
On the bright side the Vols defense shouldn’t be too much of a worry even after losing star Edge Rusher James Pearce in the NFL Draft. Despite the great defense I can see the Vols having a major slip from last year’s 10-3 record due to the shaky offence. Finishing off the SEC, I will predict my top 5 teams for the regular season:
1. Texas will put plenty of faith in Arch and if he succeeds as projected the sky is the limit for this powerhouse of a longhorns team with plenty of dawgs on the field.
2. Georgia: With Gunner Stockton stepping in at Quarterback they still need to beef up his offensive line and hugely improve the ground game where they were ranked 15th in the SEC last season, but I have faith in the Bulldogs to get it done.
3. Ole Miss: While this may be a higher ranking than most I have huge faith in the Rebels defense to carry this team to success and to terrorize offenses all over the league.
4. We have LSU of course returning Quarterback Garret Nussmsier on the back of an incredible season throwing for over 4,000 yards and 29 touchdowns , and if he can reduce his interceptions he’ll easily be a Top 5 pick in the draft in my opinion.
5. South Carolina: With Bama missing out but with Quarterback LaNorris Sellers you can see why, with and incredible Freshman year putting up 2500+ yards in the air and adding over 600 with his feet he is an prospect we can’t overlook and he will look to take the Gamecocks to the next level.
Big 10
The Big 10 has taken home back to back national championships with Ohio State looking to do it all again after losing Quarterback Will Howard, but Buckeyes fans have little to worry about as there is already a battle emerging at the position between Julian Sayin and Lincoln Kienholz and with neither having played much so far in college it should be very exciting to see who comes out on top as the starter.
Of course we can’t talk about the Buckeyes without mentioning Jeremiah Smith, the true freshman Receiver at just 19 years of age put up electric numbers last season with 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns already finishing 4th in receiving yards in the whole NCAA many have already called him NFL ready even with at least 2 years left in college we can expect him to only get better. Finally on defense, with star Free Safety Caleb Downs leading the charge already being a top 5 pick in ESPN’s 2026 mock drafts with almost 200 career tackles and 4 interceptions. Downs is a coverage master and is a key to locking down deep routes.

A team who must be hungry for revenge will be the Oregon Ducks after going undefeated in the regular season only to be dominated by the Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl. The Ducks are definitely here to get their get back and UCLA transfer Dante Moore is ready to take over this dominant offense at Quarterback. Oregon also possess plenty of other offensive weapons but none more exciting than Tulane Running Back transfer Makhi Hughes coming into a great situation after rushing for 1,400+ yards last season and will look to take the Ducks ground game to the moon and back. A key concern for the Ducks could be their defensive side of course losing big time Lineman Derrick Harmon as well as Cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, however they are certainly not short on replacements with Matayo Uiagalelei looking to take charge on the defensive line acquiring 12.5 TFL (Tackles for Loss) last season. They have also brought in Purdue transfer Dillon Thieneman to help out in the secondary.
At Michigan there has been great excitement about the true freshman Quarterback Bryce Underwood the number one high school recruit this season putting up outstanding performances and finishing his high school career with two state championships, 12,919 all-purpose yards as well as 179 total touchdowns. His main worry will be his receiving corps with Donaven McCulley being poached from Indiana – the 6’5 receiver being injured most of last season will look to bounce back strong close out his career being Underwood’s best target. Once again defense may be a downfall of a team especially considering they lost three absolute stars in the draft: Mason Graham No. 5 pick D-line , Kenneth Grant No. 13 pick D-line and Will Johnson No. 47 pick CB. Losing this much star power may heavily hamper the Wolverines in their charge to return to glory. Rounding of the Big 10 with my top 5 predictions for the conference coming in at:
- Ohio State: With two great possibilities at Quarterback and the most dangerous NCAA Receiver Jeremiah Smith, I just can’t see the Buckeyes putting a foot wrong all season and I very much expect them to make another deep playoff run once again.
2. I am putting Michigan at the two spot just having to give the benefit of the doubt to Bryce Underwood the true freshman who in my humble opinion will definitely show out and prove why he was the number one recruit in his class.
3. Penn State: I haven’t talked much about the Nittany Lions but no matter what they seem to produce star power all over the field with of course Saquon Barkley in the past and more recently Colts Tight End Tyler Warren this ability to produce beasts will once again help Penn State in the upcoming season.
4. Oregon Ducks: While I hate having them this low, unfortunately besides Running Back Makhi Hughes I think that the three teams ahead just have an overall better star power but do not be surprised if the Ducks once again make a run into the playoffs.
5. Lastly I have Indiana one of the biggest surprises last season getting 11 wins and earning a playoff berth while I don’t see them returning to the playoffs I still believe they will have a great season finishing with 7+ wins.
ACC
With a slightly disappointing season for the ACC there is plenty to look forward to starting with Clemson. After a couple of down years now can absolutely contend with the best being stacked with stars all over the field led by homegrown talents such as Cade Klubnik who will definitely be in the mix for the Heisman this season. Last year, despite the disappointing loss of the ACC bye to SMU the Junior Quarterback beat the Mustangs to take home the ACC title. Klubnik also put up some of the best numbers in the country with over 3,600 yards in the air as well as 36 touchdowns so we can expect to see much of the same from him and to lead this team to great success.

TJ Moore Jr will also look to solidify himself as a star receiver this coming year the freshman last year putting up 651 yards receiving he will be a great weapon for Klubnik once again. The Tigers defense will be highlighted by more hometown talents in Defensive Tackle Peter Woods and Cornerback Avieon Terrel with the young corner progressing well so far he will be vital to this secondary finishing last season with 58 total tackles as well as 3 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions and these numbers will only be going up. With all this talent I can hundred percent see the Tigers not only win the ACC but contend for a National Title.
Southern Methodist last season had a great time taking home the ACC bye in the playoffs as well as going undefeated in the ACC except for the title game. Despite this they got hammered at Penn State in their first playoff game but Quarterback Kevin Jennings will look to do it all again for SMU after seeing no success at Happy Valley. This will not be an easy job however while he is one of the nation’s best Quarterbacks he has lost some serious pieces in his offence so he will look to Coach Rhett Lashlee to draw up offensive success for the Mustangs.
A huge question in Dallas will be the defense as they have lost the majority of their starters who led them to being the best ranked in the ACC last season, so the Mustangs are very much in a big question mark era at the moment.
Miami will also look to reclaim former glory with QB transfer Carson Beck coming in to take over the offence from No.1 pick Cam Ward and his receivers have been promisingly upgraded with transfers coming in such as CJ Daniels and Keelan Marion also with returning sophomore Joshua Trader, Beck has little to worry about with who he will be giving the ball to.
The Hurricanes defense last year struggled heavily and have been completely revamped bringing in defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman from Minnesota. In addition to this Miami has brought in a number of DB’s to help a very shaky secondary from the season prior and returning Defensive End Reuben Bain will be helping the pass rush massively as long as he can stay healthy. With big things coming up from the ACC it was tough to predict but I certainly gave it a shot starting at:
1.It has to be Clemson with Heisman hopeful Cade Klubnik as well as a heavily improved defense I believe the Tigers can easily take home the ACC title once more and this time even contend for a national title.
2.Miami have greatly improved in the offseason and without missing a beat bringing in another star at Quarterback and improving his receiving corps can only lead to great things for the Hurricanes expect them to push Clemson maybe even make a playoff run.
3.I think Georgia Tech will shock the ACC: last season the QB1 Haynes King suffered from injuries so if he is to stay healthy the Yellowjackets are in for a very good year despite losing key receiver Eric Singleton to Auburn.
4.SMU will unfortunately have a regressing season with too many losses on both sides of the ball they will struggle to return to last year’s glory even with Kevin Jennings at the helm I don’t see the Mustangs returning to the playoffs.
5. The Pittsburgh Panthers will be another surprise this season last year started off very well with a 7-0 record but losing both starting Quarterback Eli Holstein and Running Back Desmond Reid led Pitt to a 6 game losing streak to close the season so they will be eager to return to the heights of early 2024.
Big 12
With the Big 12 turning into a 16 team conference last season people had doubts about quality of play but it certainly did not disappoint with three teams on ten wins or more and at least eight wins till eighth place Texas Tech. Kansas State expected to improve from last season as Quarterback Avery Johnson hones and fine tunes his skills and with new coordinator Matt Wells we can expect big things especially in the passing game for a Quarterback who already averaged over 255 yards per game last season. The Wildcats will also receive a big boost from their backfield as Junior Dylan Edwards and Sophomore Joe Jackson will provide plenty of options both rushed for over 5.5 yards per carry last season with Edwards averaging 7.4 YPC if he is given more carries opposing defenses could be in a great deal of trouble.

With many returning on the defensive side of the ball as well on a defense that held opponents to just 5.2 yards a play last season with Linebacker Austin Romaine taking charge in the secondary this Wildcats team is ready to contend.
The Kansas Jayhawks season was shrouded in mystery last season of how good they really could be with Quarterback Jalon Daniels returning off a season-ending injury in 2023. The Jayhawks had a very slow start to the season but seemed to pick up steam towards the end going 4-2 in their last six games which included victories over heavy contenders Iowa State and Colorado. Big worries will definitely be on the receiving corps for Daniels as Kansas was hammered by departures however they have brought in Alabama transfer Emmanuel Henderson who was ranked 39th in the nation in his high school class and he will definitely be looking to prove himself after hardly getting any game time with the Crimson Tide. Devin Neal will most certainly will be missed in the backfield but Iowa transfer Leshon Williams will look to patch things up for the Jayhawks. Williams suffering from injuries last season will look to get back to his 2023 season of over 800 rushing yards and 4.8 YPC and if he can improve these numbers the Kanasas backfield will be in good hands after Neal’s departure.
Colorado could be in big trouble on the offence of course losing big names like Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders at QB. The Buffaloes will be hopeful the Liberty transfer Kaidon Salter can take the helm and continue to improve Colorado to push for the big stage however he is not alone in the Quarterback room with true freshman Julian Lewis.
Salter has his work cut out for him as Lewis will be difficult to keep on the bench as he finished his high school career with over 11000 total passing yards and a 69% completion rate – that is talent the coach Prime will have to seriously consider when drawing up his offence. Last season the Buffaloes held teams to just 5.01 yards a snap however only three starters are back so similar to the offence Colorado has been forced to look at the transfer portal and have brought in players such as Jehiem Oatis (Alabama), Martavius French (UTSA) and Reginald Hughes (Jacksonville State) these transfers as well as returning Corner Dj McKinney will look to once again lockdown Big 12 offences. With a lot of questions in the Big 12 predictions were not easy but I have certainly given it a go:
1.Kansas State: With many returning and developing players it’s hard to see a scenario where the Wildcats fail to at least be top three the passing play expected to become even better as well as the ground game this team will certainly push for the Big 12 title.
2. We have Arizona State of course Running Back Cam Skattebo will be a big hole that will need to be patched up on the passing side Quarterback Sam Leavitt and Receiver Jordan Tyson will once again look to combine and take the Sun Devils to back impressive seasons after last years 11-2 record.
3.Baylor: The Bears won eight games straight after starting 2-4 only being tripped in their bowl game by LSU but if Quarterback Sawyer Robertson continues his great development after already being second in the Big 12 with his QB rating Baylor will be able to continue where they left off last regular season.
4. Texas Tech spent big money on NIL deals in the offseason with this the Red Raiders will be wanting to seriously improve from their measly 8th spot in the Big 12 last year and Quarterback Behren Morton looks to be back to full strength after his shoulder surgery.
5. Going off the same logic as Baylor the Kansas Jayhawks look to be a team that improved well into the back end of the season and with many returning and the defence being heavily fortified in the offseason through the transfer portal the Jayhawks will be a force to contend with in the Big 12.
AAC
The American Athletic Conference should be an exciting battle this season with multiple teams capable of taking home the title, and with a possible eight teams making bowl games there is a lot up for grabs. One of the most intriguing teams will be Tulane who unfortunately lost Quarterback Darian Mensah and Running back Makhi Hughes to the transfer portal but in good news for the Green Wave they have plenty of options at QB and due to a great offseason they have brought in Kadin Semonza (Ball State), Donovan Leary (Illinois) and Brendan Sullivan (Iowa). With all three looking to be the starter the battle for who will lead the Green Wave will be something to look forward to.
South Florida will look to improve a lackluster 2024 season after a devastating injury to Quarterback Byrum Brown led the Bulls to just a 7-6 end to the season however with Brown returning South Florida will be a force to be reckoned with, as his top target receiver Keshaun Brown returning as well as having one of the best O-Lines in the AAC it will all depend how the defense performs. If they do and with six starters returning the Bulls are in a great spot to challenge for the title this season.

Replicating the 2024 season won’t be simple for Army after losing starting Quarterback Bryson Daily and reproducing his production of over 1,600 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns will be no small task so the Black Knights will lean on their defense once more after last season allowing just 15.5 points per game however losing many key pieces such as edge rusher Elo Modozie who transferred to Georgia could be a huge issue. But lucky for the Black Knights, Cornerback Jaydan Mayes decided to exit the transfer portal after entering late spring. Predictions were very tough due to the amount of possibilities at the top and others looking for bowl games but here we are:
1. Tulane will be going to the top in 2025 with the O-Line being replaced after leaving starters as well as Running back Maurice Turner being brought in from Louisville the Green Wave are destined to succeed.
2. With Byrum Brown leading the charge the South Florida Bulls will be a serious contender this offence will be hard to beat as high expectations from last season carry over to 2025 and with transfer Cartevious Norton the Bulls backfield is in safe hands.
3. Navy made great strides last season under coach Newberry finishing 10-3 with a huge bowl win against Oklahoma, the Midshipmen also brought back most of their big talents like receiving Running back Eli Heidenreich who averaged 6.8 yards per carry if Navy are to continue this form they will be dangerous.
4. I think Army will drop a little bit from last seasons heights but not too much but with all the competition in the AAC I can’t justify putting Jeff Monken’s squad into the top three but wouldn’t be at all shocked if they make a run.
5. Expect East Carolina to take a huge step forward with major coaching changes and 2,006 yard passer Katin Houser improving even further the only downside for the Pirates will be replacing Rahjai Harris in the backfield but I have full confidence in ECU to make the top 5 and once again get a strong bowl game.
Mountain West
Even with the departure of Ashton Jeanty there is plenty to look forward to in the future of the Mountain West. Of course the Broncos will have to look elsewhere at the running back position but options with Sire Gaines and Fresno State transfer Malik Sherrod should keep Boise State major contenders once again and with the O-Line of course led by tackle Kage Casey there should little worries about the offence in Idaho. Plenty of starters also returning to a defense that held teams to just 5.7 yards a play and defensive end Jayden Virgin-Morgan looking to further improve from last season after 14.5 TFL and Safety and Corner, Ty Benefield and A’Marion McCoy locking it down in the secondary the Broncos once again expected to be a huge power and hope to make the playoffs.

However this season Boise State aren’t clear favorites with UNLV pushing them all the way last season and with Jeanty out of the way the Rebels will be eager to claim the mountain west title and with running back Jai’Den Thomas this season looking to take Jeanty’s place as the best rusher in the conference with his similar size and speed he rushed for 918 yards averaging 5.6 yards per carry showed flashes of an elite back. You just have to look at his 32 yard touchdown against Hawaii where he displayed brutal strength and the ability to break tackles well.
UNLV not only have a great in the backfield but also two hungry transfers battling for the starting Quarterback job in Alex Orji of Michigan and Anthony Colandrea of Virginia with the latter looking as the current favorite. With transfers coming in to make an immediate impact on the already best defense in the Mountain West allowing the fewest points per game (21.3) UNLV will be pushing all the way and will be playoff hopeful. With two clear favorites let’s see how the regular season predictions turn out.
1. At the one spot I got Boise State but only just with their elite rushing game and offensive line they should be able to eek out an other Mountain West title with coach Spencer Danielson looking to return to the playoffs and put up a much better fight than last seasons blow out against the Nittany Lions.
2. Well UNLV may miss out again but will make it significantly harder than last season with their only two losses in the MWC coming to Boise State this season will be vying to not repeat the mistakes of last season and take down the Broncos and win the Mountain West once again.
3. Colorado State coming off a great season only missing out on the chance of a title game due to a loss against Fresno State and with great experience at QB with Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi the problems at receiver will become less of a concern for the Rams.
4. I expect a big drop off from the top three but still a very solid record from San Jose State with an offence that averaged over six yards a play last season they will surely continue this form with starting quarterback Walker Eget returning for his redshirt and final senior season for the Spartans.
5. It was tough to choose a spot at the five but I think Fresno State clinch it last year struggling a bit after the retirement of coach Jeff Tedford the Bulldogs still managed to get to .500 record and with a team that allowed the fewest yards per play in the MWC the Bulldogs will hope to get back to over six wins.
MAC
Big changeups expected in the Mid-American: Toledo after finishing just 8-5 after and 11-3 in 2023 will be hoping to take their rushing attack back to the previous heights after being ranked 127th nationally so Toledo have taken to the transfer portal and brought in special talent Kenji Christian from North Carolina A&T. Despite suffering from injuries last season he still averaged 8.8 yards per carry as few as they were and standing at 6”2 he is a very tall running back so he can also provide in the receiving game for Quarterback Tucker Gleason who passed for 2,808 yards last season. Running Back is not the only player upgraded on the offence bringing in speed demon Trayvon Rudolph from Northern Illinois to partner up with current rockets receiver Junior Vandross III who racked up over 900 yards receiving with 5 touchdowns this power on offence should propel Toledo back to the top of the MAC.

Will Ohio be able to contend again we shall see but with offensive coordinator Brian Smith promoted to the head coaching job could see big changes for the Bobcats however if they can capitalize on their great offence from last season where they averaged 6.2 yards a snap Ohio should once more be in the driving seat and ready to take on anyone. With Quarterback Parker Navarro returning for his senior year after only putting up 13 touchdowns to his 11 interceptions last season he will need to improve on these numbers if the Bobcats are to compete again lucky for Navarro, Ohio’s defense led the MAC for the fewest points allowed per game for the second year in a row if this is to continue the Bobcats are in safe hands with plenty of additions in the offseason. Now similar to the MWC there seem to be a clear top two but where do I think everyone else be in the top five? Let us see.
1. I mean Toledo just seem like an absolute powerhouse of the conference after this offseason with great additions on offence especially at the running back position and if the defence can continue to show out as in the last five seasons of being top three of fewest yards allowed per play the Rockets will have a great season.
2. It’s hard to bet against the Ohio Bobcats and if they can sort out the issue with passing touchdowns whatever that means then combine that with that already powerful ground game the Bobcats could easily challenge for the MAC title once again.
3. Buffalo maybe a bit low for a team with many weapons however they added very few talent in the offseason on the good side the defence is lethal with an incredibly experienced secondary and one of the best defensive ends in the Mid-American in Kobe Stewart the Bulls should have little problems in 2025.
4. Miami (Ohio) suffering from many exits after this offseason however the return of injured running back Kenny Tracy could be the boost they need to stay afloat in this very competitive conference.
5. With major coaching changes in place at Bowling Green sees former Heisman winner Eddie George come in with both his coordinators from Tennessee State with a team that has made three consecutive bowl appearances there are big expectations on the new head coach.
Sun Belt/CUSA
After a very solid start with new head coach Bob Chesney, JMU found themselves 9-4 winning their bowl game and are very much expected to take the next step starting with the ground game with a big pair in the back field in George Pettaway and Ayo Adeyi. With Pettaway already averaging 6 yards per carry last season he will look to take the offense even further hoping to break 1,000 yards in the upcoming season.
In the west Texas State will look to finally take the next step and take care of the west with a heavy amount of additions in the transfer portal all over the field and lucky for the Bobcats edge rusher Kalil Alexander returns after 11 tackles for loss in the season prior this leave Texas State in a handy position to make some noise in the Sun Belt.
Taking a look at Conference USA a player to watch out for will be Western Kentucky’s freshman Quarterback Maverick McIvor passing for over 3,800 yards and throwing 30 touchdowns for ACU comes into a team thats not been able to take the next step for years not being over .500 for a few years but never taking home the title. For predictions I am just going to give my winner for each conference.
For the Sun Belt East I have to go with Marshall despite losing big talent Mike Green to the NFL draft they are still a huge force on defense with a roster that features over 60 brand new players they will be hard to take down.
In the west I gotta go with Texas State with the sheer amount of power in the backfield and Quarter back Jordan McCloud returning the Bobcats will finally be able to have a shot at the title with coach Gj Kinne.
In the CUSA it’s hard to bet against the Liberty Flames after going 13-1 last season with their only loss coming in their bowl game against Kennesaw State they went undefeated in the regular season and I can 100% see it happening again with Ethan Vasko coming in to take over under center and lead linebacker Joseph Carter coming off a season with 88 tackles this Flames team is looking scary.
Independents and Pac 12
The Pac 12 of course has now just got two teams with last season Washington State taking the only winning record of the two going 8-5 and a loss in their bowl game against Syracuse. The loss of starting Quarterback John Mateer who passed for 29 touchdowns last seasons will seriously harm the Wazzu to repeat there successful season with now a big task on former starter Zevi Eckhaus to replicate what he was able to do before being sidelined for the year. Oregon State now look to head the Pac 12 with plenty of veterans on the team as well as the addition of of Duke transfer Maalik Murphy who passed for nearly 3,000 yards and 26 touchdowns for the Blue Devils last season he will take now take place under center to lead this Beaver team to glory once more. The Independents are now also now down to just two teams with UMass joining the Mid-American starting this season.

Of course the big talking point here will be Notre Dame with redshirt freshman CJ Carr likely to take over at Quarterback, Carr has an incredible arm before joining the Fighting Irish he passed for 2,754 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior in high school combine this with the elite backfield of Jeremiah Love and Jadarian Prince these two combining for over 1,800 yards on the ground last season making them arguably the best pairing in the nation with Love being a star entering the next season as one of the best backs in the country. On defense questions will need to be answered after losing star DB’s Xavier Watts and Benjamin Morrison to the draft as well as a brand new defensive coordinator Chris Ash who luckily comes into an incredibly talented room full of stars especially at linebacker with Drayk Bowen who combined for 78 tackles last season. Once again I will just be predicting winners as there aren’t enough teams for a top 5.
In the Pac 12 I have to give it to Oregon State with brand new star at Quarterback in Maalik Murphy and the regression for Washington State it’s difficult to see this go any other way but we won’t know till the Championship game deep into the season.
In terms of Independents there is no title but when it comes to Notre Dame I can see them make another great run at the college football playoffs as well as another shot at the Natty maybe a repeat of last year’s game against the Buckeyes but we will see how the new defense will shape up for the Fighting Irish in the upcoming season for all that.
Well that’s all I hope you are as excited for this new season of college football as I am. If I was to make one more prediction I would give Ohio State that National Championship again and as well as a toss-up Heisman race there is so much to look forward to from stars returning to glory as well as brand new players looking to light up the big stage from the SEC to the Sun Belt.
With the season kicking off on the 23rd of August at 5pm in the Aviva between Kansas State and Iowa State let’s see who comes out on top this year!
